I'm glad that I found this thread because I had the same situation where a guest bought a container of Tostidos dip, and it prompted for supervisor numbers. I got some assurance that team members can find out if an item is on recall through the mydevices, but I know that most of you are so busy with other tasks that it can be difficult to get to everything in a timely manner.
The guest was definitely angry about it and I had to apologize to him about it.
Just curious though, for example if there is a recall on a certain product, is it likely there is a recall on a similar product from the same brand? In my situation above, does that mean there would be a recall on other Tostidos products?
