Hello, nice to be here! I've been in the retail business for over 35 yrs. worked for Foley's, Monkey Ward, Joske's, Lowe's, Wally World, Ace Hardware, Smith's....... I start tomorrow in Hardlines, and I'm aware that there's cashier training (which I suck at) and a lot of zoning to do. Any advice for a 55 yr.old?

Advice- Be fast, talk alot, get redcards, dont wait for guests to come to register( fix stuff, cleanup), Be bold,...

Be friendly, chat up guests for redcards, registers are much easier than the old days.
Find comfortable shoes; you'll need 'em.
