The GSA that got promoted basically told me to do it too lol She was really the only reason I stayed in the front lanes because we were basically each other's faves to work with because we knew how to get shit done together. Now there's nothing keeping me in the front lanes so Imma be oooooout.

Yep, that is exactly their feelings. I wonder how they're going to handle today. It's payday I wanna see them call out on that lol I still really feel bad for the new TL, she's super sweet and does get shit done, but they're hella hating on her because of it. Hell, one of the older GSAs is calling her a bitch now.
Have you thought about doing Starbucks? The SB team needs to understand change in mgt. go with, communicate are the keys to resolve issues.

I have but then another part of me recalls how weird Starbucks people are with their drinks and I think I would rather not open that can of worms

I'm going to ask about Hardlines soon since people also tend to leave me alone when I'm there

It's funny, it's the exact opposite for me. Whenever I'm on the floor, even when I'm wearing grey for SFS, I am constantly hounded about anything and everything. I can't walk from the main stockroom to the electronics stockroom without getting asked to open up a game case, get a pair of beats for a guest, etc. etc.

Crap like this is why I now have to carry around a mag key on top of my other keys. For the longest time we just had the general electronics key

Where do I start.
Today/last night...
So, just between 7:45 last night and 1 pm today, I have 4 security incident cases to write. FML.
Christ, Tall. Your store sounds insane. Are you high volume and/or high risk?
Neither. One was the morons who put their crap in our bike lockers and came in and complained and threatened to sue when theyou discovered we cut the lock and removed their crap so the STL told me to write a case on that. 2nd was a crazy lady I trespassed last night for yelling obscenities in the store and calling the STL a bitch. 3rd was a team member had her car broken into and her car battery stolen. That was it, noting else. And the 4th was the crazy lady returning this morning and refusing to leave until I started dialing the police. Last I saw was she was being escorted out of the mall by 3 mall guards.
We're an A volume store that had 1.1 million in shortage last year, yet we only get 80 TPS hours, plus an APS and the ETL-AP. Our sister store, on the south side of town, is A+ volume, had 1.2 million, and has 160 hours for TPS, along with an APS and etl. There's a bit of a difference there.
Wednesday...
Seriously, dafuq with Wednesdays. While following this crazy transient guy, I see this tweaker looking woman in accessories. Just as I focus the camera on her, she picks up a wallet and...licks it. Full on, sticks out her tongue, and gives it a taste. I grab a trespass notice and clipboard and go to trespass her, but then they guy we were following tried walking out, so we stop him. After we get his cracy ass sitting down, I go track down the lady, and tell her that we have her on video licking the wallet, and succumb to the temptation and ask, why the hell did she lick it. Her response?
"I wanted to see if it would work."
I had her sign the trespass, and kicked her out, amazingly keeping a straight face.
Then, when I got into the office, I was now asked to call for an ambulance for the guy we apprehended because he was "having difficulty beathing," and his hands were trembling. And he was a total 5150 case. EMS ended showing up before PD did, and they took him to the psych ward, I'm guessing.

I get the occasional "where is x" but that's about it. No one ever really checks on me either it's like "ok Kaitii push these CAFs" "work the zone on E block" and that's it. Oh and sometimes I get called for backup. It's when I'm about to go on break/lunch/clock out that I get hounded by guests.

Our signing specialist is on vacation and so they scheduled one of the ad setup TMs to do his job today. Said TM comes in, throws a little fit about this (despite surely knowing this was the plan all along) and refuses my offer to give her the five minutes of training she needs (literally just "here's the basket of supplies you might need and make sure you change the endcap banners as needed."). Eventually she decides that she can handle making the endcap signage but the LOD's going to have to change the banners. And the 7x11s? Pffffttttt. When I left today, the only ones that went up were the ones I did myself.

Throw in the fact that we never got our ad correction signs and today was a fucking blast.

If I get asked Monday how Sunday went, I'm just going to laugh.

Wow. People are horrible.

I was backing up and a guest with her baby, friend and mom had 2 transactions. A WIC one and a regular one. When it came time for her regular transaction, she had issues pulling up her electronic GC, I had a line so I suspended it and asked her to go to the SD. Our AP and GSA/GSTL wasn't visible so I told her I'd watch her walk to the SD. All she did was take the elevator. I walkied AP with no immediate response, and I finally saw the GSA, I told her and she ran downstairs. Guest denied saying I took the items back but she wanted everything in the same bag. It was out of her hands and AP was too late.

Funny thing is that our baby advisor saw her earlier with a breast pump that wasn't spider wrapped and when asked if she wanted it, she said yes but when the TM said let me "process it" aka spider wrap she said she changed her mind. 30 minutes later, the advisor discovered a $200 baby monitor stolen and when brought up to APS, a nearby store had a couple breast pumps stolen.

Some people, I swear.

Good News: I found my missing clipboard!
Bad News: It was sitting in a box on the other end of the backroom, right where I left it last week. Full of MIRs that are probably supposed to be in the mail right now.

Oops.

This week has been a rollercoaster of mistakes and madness.

So I was inappropriately touched today.....by a 7-9yr old girl

I was working a cart of go backs and as I was walking out of an aisle this girl shouts "rainbow!!" because I was wearing my rainbow target shirt. So she runs up to me and points at my shirt and says I have a rainbow. Now, as you all might know. I. Hate. Kids. So I'm just awkwardly standing there like "....haha....yeah" and tried to walk away. She started tracing the rainbow portion of my shirt before I could make my getaway and I just. Froze up. Then she put her hands on my boobs aND STARTED SQUEEZING. At this point her guardian finally arrived and she was like oH MY GOD IM SO SORRY and scolding her kid. I just "haha...it's....ok" and walked off kind of in a daze like

What the fuck just happened

Must not laugh, must not laugh...

I ran a day care for a while when my kiddos were young and discovered two things the hard way.
1) Always hip check when a four year old runs up to give you a hug or their head will somehow always collide exactly with your crotch and leave you gasping for air.
2) Don't wear long dangly skull earrings because they will rip them out of your ears.

I'm FATL and between 4th quarter sales and the CVS buy out I am covering my own station alone 7 hous a day (we're v3), covering SB breaks, covering supervisor calls to the lanes and covering SB breaks because I'm baristas and AST certified.
I don't get paid enough for this. -.-

Today was a freaking DOOZY.

My ETL wanted me to work on 4 end caps, and I did. 1.5 hours later they decide they don't like it and wants me to move it, after I spent nearly 2 hours pulling and merchandising it. ETL and my VML got into it because my ETL wasted time and the moments still needed to be worked on. My ETL said they'd do it but instead got other TMs doing it.

Another, I was venting to a coworker in the break room and another TM was eavesdropping and assumed I was talking about a certain TL. This TM goes and tells this TL that I found them annoying so that TL pulled me aside asking what they did. I was completely surprised and so were they because we're on excellent terms; which is why the TL was concerned. So annoying.

*ahem*

Dear TL,

WHEN I WALKIE THE SALES FLOOR AT THE END OF MY SHIFT, AND SAY I AM OUT FOR THE DAY, IT MEANS I AM GONE; I AM NO LONGER BEING PAID BY TARGET CORPORATION. THAT IS NOT YOUR CUE TO ASK ME TO GO TO 4, ASK ME FOR A DPCI, OR ASK ME TO DO SHIT, AND IT IS MOST CERTAINLY NOT YOUR CUE TO GIVE ME AN ATTITUDE.

LEAVE. ME. ALONE.

Thanks! :)

Oh hell no! "LOD PLEASE GO TO THREE NOW!"

Dear (certain) Target TMs,

I am guessing you regret that I left my position with Target to pursue my career with CVS inside Target. I was happy enough to give you some information to help you in several of the workcenters that I vacated.

However, Target no longer pays my bills, so please don't continue to seek me out for any more problem solving.

Sincerely,

RXninja (formerly COninja)

they've offered to barista train me so many times. there's no way in hell i'm doing it so i'm an option. i can ring any one up but i'm not working sb

I forgot to watch the baler like a hawk during truck today and grab any boxes. R.I.P, getting price change to stop using repacks. Once the last Sterilite box is filled I'm expecting they'll go back to repacks instead of looking around themselves. I'd love to be proven wrong but then again, today I had to ask their TL (because last time I spoke to one of them on boxes, they were offended) to ask them to at least tape the bottom of the boxes shut. So that when I'm rearranging the salvage pallet I'm not having every box explode in my hands.

Oh well. Maybe next week I can teach that one PA to overcome whatever the hell her problem is with closing the bay door after FDC unload. And while I'm at it, maybe world peace.

Just tell the FLow TL to save boxes (tell them to have the person throwing the cardboard into the baler to save Large Boxes from Home Storage.)

I've talked to the flow and backroom TLs about saving boxes and putting them in my area but I'm not seeing anything coming from it. Need to bug them about it some more, yeah. And maybe I can talk to flow TL about getting their main trash guy to try and work cleaner. If he isn't letting a overflowing pile of foam, plastic and miscellaneous build up around him, he's leaving empty cages everywhere. Or both, really.

If there's one things this store has taught me, its that one saying about jobs done and doing them yourself.

I had a kid pay with $54 in dimes, which I had to count out. Then the next guy said yes to the redcard but didn't know his SSN# so he backed out of the application and it froze the register and I had to re-ring all $300 of a bunch of little shit. Ugh.
