you save more than 15% with Discover card?If I was going to get either, it would be the credit card. But really, I don't see that happening. I use my Discover card for everything. I pay it off every month. No annual fee. No interest. Plus I get cash back on all my purchases. I crunched the.numbers, I make back far more than I would save using the red card.
It's because it's not a debit card, it's essentially a credit card target foots the bill with their credit when you make the purchase and then bills your bank account automatically. It will never work like an actual debt card just because banks don't want anyone else to have that level of account access outside of them. The only issue is how well your bank and credit union interact, banks certainly can slow down certain transactions just off not trusting the source. My problem was it was not consistent on how long it would take. Sometimes two days others 4+ days.
it's hard enough to get a guest who:The point is that many cashiers pitch the debit card as just being like your own debit card. FALSE.
So like, I can't seem to get like any RedCards. I ask my guests once, then again if it appears on my screen. I always get, "no" or "I don't want another credit card." Or "I don't have a check."
I always ask every guest, but they all say 'no'. I really want to stay but I doubt they'll let me since I called out 2 times because I had a family emergency and a medical issue. And because I just can't seem to get RedCards.
Any tips to help me get some RedCards?
That would make to much sense to spot. But, I do like those types of promotions.Soo.....why doesn't Target offer Redcard only sales?
Macy's does it. I believe Kohls does it. If Target is so obsessed with Redcards, why don't they offer them? Mail RC holders a coupon for an extra 10+% off their purchase on XX/YY or between XX/YY-ZZ/YY, or have cashiers pass them out a la 20% off entire purchase coupons. 5% is bunk, 5% barely covers tax, if it wasn't for my cash aversion and my TM discount I wouldn't have one. 5% off with the opportunity to have an extra 10+% off however....
