I don’t know why you’re coming off like you want to argue. I clearly stated that there was an emergency and we weren’t able to finish 2 shifts. Having a serious, unplanned, situation that flat out prevents you from going in is very different from not showing up cause you didn’t feel like it.

Thank you! That’s definitely helpful. I know that I wouldn’t walk out on them but I also understand that they can’t just trust everyone that walks through the door.

My store used to close at 10 on Sundays and switched. It's been about a year or so that we've been closing at 11.

I used to work at a Subway inside of a Wal-Mart. We had nothing to do with the store. I never even saw their breakroom and only went to the backroom to take out the trash at the end of the night. The store didn't even have keys to the gate that separated Subway.
