Use the month to figure out where to put it. Either roll it into an IRA or maybe into your new employer 401K. If you just withdraw it you’ll pay taxes on the total amount and an early withdrawal penalty when you file your taxes.
I took 2 medical LOAs and the first time was told by Reed Group that I couldn’t use my sick time to supplement my short term disability pay but the second time I could use all 80 hours. Typical Target! I think you could use vacation time for a non medical LOA. Call and ask, my HR was useless...
Possibly they have more interviews scheduled and want to interview everyone before making a decision or also likely no one from HR was available to make an offer
Your 401K contributions are on your W2 which is all you need. The 1099 is for distributions from the account so if you didn’t take money out you won’t get one.
I was on an LOA and the paperwork only says if you don't go back it will be considered a resignation. No paying back or having to give a two weeks notice.
The minimum hours for benefits only applies to medical insurance. I believe the 401K eligibility is after you have reached 1000 hours. Your 401K is your money and you can continue to fund it. If you haven't already you should log into targetpayandbenefits.com where you can see everything...
If they started in Sept 2017 then the raise last year was prorated. Worked less than 6 months then 9 cent raise was approx 1/2 of what the raise would have been if they worked the whole year. This situation is what I used to hate, having to give a good review with a crappy raise.
My store is running store modernization now and there is no formal training program. All team members are trying to keep up but we're stuck with empty shelves on the sales floor with push in the back that not's going anywhere. Staffing is bad so there's no time to properly train existing or...
The problem would also be if there wasn't someone in the store to get into the CO. A key carrier for flow could unlock the doors and take LOD calls but may not have access to CO.
When I reached 10 years with Target it took HR over 2 months after my anniversary to mail it to my house. It was a card with a gift card inside It showed in EHR as a service award and was a check with no payout so taxes could be paid.
When I got my 5 year notice every ETL signed the card...
Thought it was just at my store. Unfortunately we all know that with careful wording on PDDs there will be “cause” to performance unwanted team members out. Everyone from ETL down is in “cover your ass” mode.
Looks like we're averaging 225 to 250 hrs/wk in Style but I'm told we're getting 30-40 extra hours that we're not supposed to have. So other work centers are sacrificing so we can have more than our share. Also been told no one is working to their potential and should be written up to improve...
Anyone have advice for Softlines for finishing truck push and everything else? Store gets 5 trucks/week with 1600-2600 pieces and 150-350 repacks. Told we’re properly scheduled and all push should be finished along with reshop and price changes but we don’t finish push when we’re buried under...
Helped SFS find a dress yesterday. Their screen said Prologue but with DPCI the Zebra showed Mossimo Black and we found the right dress for the order. Only Target knows why...
