Archived New roll out schedule- GM3

Precisely...especially considering, even more so now, that ASANTS. I do find it incredibly disappointing that my SD copied the schedules verbatim for all the ETLs, but for their schedule, conveniently they have no “10-8” or “11-9” shifts.

Archived New roll out schedule- GM3

I completely understand the direction/reasoning for the new scheduling aspect. But to be honest, for me at least, being ETL-SS and 3 out of my 5 days being 11-9pm is just a little ridiculous. Being a mid $30m store, there really isn’t even that much traffic after 6. I’m willing to work and...

@Hardlinesmaster thanks for the info. Every little bit helps for sure.

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

53k would be a legitimate slap in the face..based on 50+ hours a week that’d be quite a pay cut in the grand scheme of things. And a slight update; my ETL texted me about two hours ago telling me I’m interviewing with my DTL tomorrow. Not even a full day notice, no interview prep has happened...

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

Yea..I know that my ETL Salesfloor has for sure pulled way more then the typical 50 hour week. I do feel that asking for 60k is fair, but like you said, I have to really sell myself. And even though I know I’ve done a lot for my store over the years..I suck at talking about myself, which I for...

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

I get what you’re saying. I’ve seen way too many NIR ETLs do the whole buy a new car and all that nonsense. Fun fact; I recently actually had to buy a new vehicle because my old one legitimately got totaled while working at my store (it was parked, and some dude legit pulled a U turn and ran...

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

    Is my math weird? 21 x 40hours = 840 840 x 52weeks = 43,680 21 x 50hours = 1,050 1,050 x 52 weeks = 54,060 54k is my rock bottom limit in my head. From what I’ve seen ETLs go through I would like to think they start closer to 60k, but who knows. Being an internal, and not having a degree I’m...

Archived ETL Pay (expectation vs potential reality)

I know all stores, all districts aren’t the same. But in regards to transitioning from hourly to salary; say I make $21/hour, which equates to $43,680 annually working 40 a week. Would it be realistic to expect or negotiate to ask for at least a salary of $54,600 as an ETL Salesfloor (just...

Archived Would you quit Target for a "better" job?

Absolutely. I’ve been with spot for 7.5 years. Do I love my job? No. Do I hate it? Also no. Honestly, the only reason I’m really still here doing what I’m doing is because I honestly don’t know wtf I want. The majority of jobs around my area are IT or Engineering related...which just isn’t my...
