Take your breaks. You deserve them. Target doesn’t deserve you. They should be grateful for people like you. You sound like most of my morning SFS team. They only take their meals, not their 15’s. Everyone needs a short rest :) don’t want you to have a meltdown!
Your poll is titled wrong... “Would you stay at Amazon-Target?” That’s only if Amazon decides they even need you and the staff count stores currently have, which in so many cases is already barebones. Whole Foods has had many positions cut and staff has now been slimmed down. Whole Foods was all...
Also don’t forget... myTime is Kronos in disguise! So the Kronos mobile app automatically is compatible with myTime because Target was already using Kronos.
Although I think myTime Self Service is a Target-developed application, which explains why it often has a FAILURE RESPONSE FROM KRONOS...
Wow. Sorry you had to deal with that. We had extra people help us out all day. But our count was consistently at 2,000 items, it just wouldn’t go down. We had six pickers and four packers and we had to start using three tiers. We also got three people dedicated to OPU the whole night. There was...
I honestly don’t know if Amazon really is any better. I have a subscription to deliver the same item (a sparkling juice) every month, and every time it comes in one of three different box sizes, usually with no air pillows, sometimes bubble wrapped.
My store likes to forego the abbreviations on BF and put everyone that’s not in their normal work center as “Inventory”. Last year I was selling TVs instead of doing Ship from Store which I was not happy with.
If you're not feeling up to doing it yourself, continue to complain to any leadership you work with. One of them is bound to put in a request or call for help, especially because it could be an issue with the system itself, not just a single phone.
Great, another guest and TM annoyance: more sounds! Ringing myDevices?
I think it’s a poor choice to get rid of a central operator and expect random TMs to answer calls. At least at my store, there are four main people who are trained as operator and do it every day. There’s a reason that...
Workday
Workday has nothing to do with scheduling or availability, does it? I thought everything scheduling is done through the Kronos system & Target’s myTime.
I’m the same way. I am only available four days during the fall semester — school comes first before Target — and only available for...
In my experience, if your availability was approved through myTime, then that means HR or an ETL, or whoever approved it and does your schedule, was OK with it. That means they should be following it. If they had a problem with it they should have spoken to you.
This is great! Target’s internal apps are poorly designed from a high-visibility and speed perspective, and with more apps following the Move-style design, it’s getting worse.
Are you a designer by chance?
