Seriously. I was a new permanent hire that came in with the seasonals, and I've been working upwards of 25 hrs a week post Christmas, though that's with picking up shifts when they ask me to. One girl who started me was scheduled for 8 hours last week. I think she's gone now.

I know my store was understaffed before they hired seasonal, and they had permanent positions to fill with the seasonal positions. Because of this, I don't think any one quite remembers if I was hired to be seasonal or permanent, though I suppose it should be in a file some where, and I don't...

My second day on the job, the cute kid I was shadowing made a point to tell me that there wasn't a camera on one of the aisle in the BR. ;)

We were out of Elf on the Shelf for just a day or two. It was madness. People were making me check reshop. They were hunting for them in random parts of the store. They had to have them.
