Not at all. I'm not going to say that my team doesn't have more then its fair share of opportunities but the store I work at requires my team to be done by 8:00AM-9:00AM (we're a 4am process) at the very latest so quite a few of them can transfer to other work centers (ie. signing...
My team definitely has alot of issue in terms of FIFOing, thus the Freshness Huddles, but zone issues that are traceable back to my team via item search are documented and pursued. :curtsey:
2-3 of our store's weekly morning huddles are freshness huddles in Dry Grocery to help compensate for any FIFO issues thus the flow process finishes earlier and more payroll can be given back to guest driven work centers. :buba:
1 minute per box is a very loose average. You'll quickly find out that in a department like grocery you can get it down to as quick as 30 seconds per box or so. If I see a team member that is consistently having issues keeping up I'll workout the first ten boxes I see on their aisle and see...
I do performance discussions for work performance issues based on NOT meeting the predefined goal time for their work center. Work performance issues get alittle bit harder to document when it comes to departments that employ a wave process to complete. If I feel that someone in my wave...
At our store the Planogram TL is responsible for making sure that the pre ties are done on time but the Flow TL is responsible for ensuring that they are trapped and palletized, ideally seperated by aisle. Now with that out of the way, we also trap ALL of the transition if it calls to be...
That couldn't be further from the truth. The flow team is responsible for zoning items that they stock NOT zoning the entire aisle. You might be referring to the usage of the logistic's zone work center which was intended for zoning market, chemicals, and paper but most stores in the company...
I only typically have to do it for inventory prep but there is an assorted case report under store applications. That report will allow you to see whats in each assortment case. :excited:
You need to be setup in the system to be able to have access to TIPP. I would still partner with the SFT, with a work order number in hand, about the issue and ask him/her when the work order could feasibly be completed. Requisitioning some box fans in the meantime might be abit of a hinderance...
I learned awhile back that complaining about a mechanical issue won't work. I'm not sure if you have inputted a work order into the system but that should be putting your store's SFT on the clock, in a sense, to address that issue. Fans that are hooked to the wall to blow air into the truck...
