I really like that idea, in the past I've had weekly contests between team members for most attachments, but perhaps if they're working towards a daily goal together it'll make for better results, thanks!
Like others have said, cross-training opens the opportunity for more hours, but also keeps work more interesting in my opinion. I started as a cashier, did that alone for a whole year and I was about to go crazy! Luckily when I transferred for the first time I was put into Starbucks, which led...
Thanks for all the replies so far, it really helps me out! Sorry I haven't been back to say thanks yet, between the 2 jobs and school full-time my schedule's been a bit crazy :-/
Hey everyone, at the moment I'm in a statistics class and we need to complete "study" so I chose to see what type of recognition team members prefer. 50 responses are required and getting that from my one store would be difficult, so I thought I'd post the survey up here, which will give a wider...
We were told that the DTL's and such weren't supposed to use it on a walk so that they can remain more engaged with the team and the leads they're walking with, rather than having their heads down looking at the IPad, I've seen ours use it for a brief reference though during a walk.
Sorry, I didn't mean to come across as though you were making it up, I simply meant hopefully it is actually trending company wide, and not just a few stores or districts. ;)
This was mentioned by our STL in a meeting last week as well, about more focus on internal promotions. Our store has already been focusing on it a lot, and for good reason, the last outside hire-in to SrTL went down in flames, so maybe (hopefully) there's some truth to it.
Finally made Sr. TL, it'd been in the talks for awhile to interview and such, and then got asked on a Monday to interview that Wednesday, and got the call Thursday that I was signed off! I'm excited to get started, but are there any tips or advice I should know about?
Also, does anyone know...
Hey everyone,
So I'm currently in a marketing class and overlooked that I need to interview someone that has worked in marketing for an assignment due this week, ahh! I was wondering if anyone on here has worked in marketing for Target or anywhere else that might be able to answer 10...
At one of my previous stores we took a paid trip/tour to our DC and FDC one day. It included all the ETLs and TL's that had an association to food, so it was probably 8-10 people total, pretty cool experience. It was set-up because there was frustration in our store as to why some things were...
Reminds me of the guest that got pissed because she left 5 of the 15ish dollar totes in her cart, yet she remembered the lids! How does that happen, especially when that was the only thing she bought, no we won't replace that
Ah, makes sense, I figured it was something from corporate with the tone of discussions, but wasn't sure exactly. So is it just a pop in, how's it going kind of thing, or do they really dig in the different areas and ask a lot of questions?
