Nope in our store we were told picking too. Might be diff in yours at least for now.

There won't be gsas and gstls any more under the new model. Our SFS has always done all picks since we added driveup last yr. But with the new changes all cashiers will be trained on gs, register, sco, drive up and opu picks. They guest advocate part includes all that.

I agree since alot of ours physically can't or shouldn't but it's going to happen at my store.

we were told sfs will only be doing picks for sfs. Opu and du picks will be done by front end. That may take time as none are trained for it. But at my store that's what's happening. Although we never have enough staff on the front end to ring out guests let alone add picks in.

As far as we've been told the cashiers roles change and it's them that will be trained in everything the gsa does now in addition to du & opu picks. There will be training.

Same as our store currently. gsa runs the order out to the car but our SFS team does all the picking. But Front end will be taking over drive up and opu picking according to the new model. You will still have sfs and shpt if your store has that. At least that's what we've been told

We just carry a marker for the big items and change the count on the front of the box if we are only taking one or two and it's big items. We hand key it in or leave it in location, scan to the cart, and then rescan bkrm location.

I'm not seeing why backstocking a partial is so hard? My girls scan the bkroom location, pull however many it calls for, then flip screens to my work bkstock it, flip screens agaib and take the 2 or 4 or whatever it asked for to the cart. I get it's a pain to move a tub, 2 uboats and a pallet...
