Just PMed you! Hope that helps!

    Archived ETL Summer Intern Question.

To be an intern, you do have to still be in school. If you've already graduated, you can apply for an ETL position with any bachelor's degree.

    Archived ETL Breaks

At most stores ETLs are asked to break together by their STLs. It's supposed to be team building. And as for longer breaks, ETLs work 10 hour shifts. At most of the stores I've been in they take maybe two breaks, but according to the same rules we all use for breaks, they should be taking 4...

Archived Does anyone else find it odd that there are no ETLs on this forum?

If team members get in trouble for what they post here, imagine how much worse it could be for ETLs, who can be fired even easier than TMs for posting too much or negative information. ETLs are here, they're just quiet for good reason.

    Archived ETL schedule question

The comp day is basically an extra day off in the week that ETLs get off besides their regular to to compensate for working a holiday. The reason ETLs get those is because they are salaried and don't get extra pay like time and a half for holidays.

Archived Can I SERIOUSLY be disciplined for this?!

It doesn't matter where you work. It's never a good idea to post about work and have a lot of people from work able to access any profiles on any sites. That's just asking for trouble. If you care about having a job and making money then just don't do it. Be safe and keep your job.

    Archived Training Pay

You get it, but you're hourly until the end of training. It's just figured on a 50 hour week.

    Archived Hours

10 hours is the minimum, but during 4th quarter the minimum is 12 hours. It's still 5 days a week when possible. Sometimes, though, business needs make it more like 16 or 17 hours...

    Archived Business College

They'll teach you about sales reporting, food safety, store safety, HR issues, and leadership in the classes. After/during that, you'll do on-the-job training for your position. There's actually some really good information in it if you pay attention, unlike some other ETLs I know...

Archived Advice to a new ETL

You'll be learning a lot of things really fast, but don't get overwhelmed. There's about a 6 month learning curve with the job. Just learn your own job and start there before you worry about the others. You'll pick those up in time, but if you know your position, you'll be fine. Really...

    Archived Etl

GE is often the first because it's not so difficult, but it's not as rewarding. To do an internship, you'll have to have a degree in progress, and you'll have to go through interviews. I would talk to your ETL-HR or STL, because you'll never get it without some kind of support. Business...

    Archived Ebay

Even if corporate doesn't set a limit, leadership including GSTLs can limit purchases on any item to a "reasonable family purchase." I think most people are just happy for the sales.

Is anyone not in the path on hurricane response teams for their store? What do you expect to happen with those?

Archived Somthing I'd like an opinion on.

They are supposed to introduce themselves to everyone, but with so many people in the store, it can be difficult to remember who all they have officially introduced themselves to and who they haven't. Just introduce yourself and don't read too much into it. I'm sure it's not a slight, it's...

    Archived Signing Bonus

There is no signing bonus, but you will get your yearly bonus next year in addition to your raise; however, this will be prorated based on your start date, and the amount all depends on your review score. Starting depends. I've heard of it going as low as $38K, but you would get more with...
