At my store we have 2 GSTL 3GSA. The GSTLs each do 4 shifts running the lanes and 1 SD shift. The GSAs all rotate through with the remaining shifts, but also get a mix of SD, cashier, HL and Rx.

Honestly, right now in this company don't try and become a GSTL unless you have really thick skin and want to stay in that position for a very long time. It's a very tough role to be in and even more difficult to be good at. Realistically unless your store's conversion is consistently at 2.5-3%...
