Oh and to answer your question, we have to complete the 90 days probationary period first before we are eligible for the educational LOA. Which is the whole problem that me and OP are affected by.

Sorry in advance for necroing this thread. I was considering opening a new thread but this one is crazily similar to my situation. If the OP is still around or anyone else that has some advice, I would be grateful. Concerning this, can anyone explain what a rehire status is? Am i reading way...
