Someone said to me in regards to Target: people either move up or move out. I, unfortunately, am one of the ones "moving out." I want a job w/ more responsibility, that values my education, and compensates me for my time. I found one. Woohoo!

It wasn't about another TM. She was having a convo w/ the other GS lady and made the comment on how the guy the were talking about "rode the other side of the fence." I just threw it in there to demonstrate the unprofessional behavior of the people who work at GS and put a face on the store.

Yep. From 7.50 to 7.75/hour. The rationale? Apparently all new hires/seasonal are getting paid 7.75 and Corporate decided, "Why not?" And just threw those quarters at us like we're cheap whores. Oh, well. I'll take it as I only have a week and a half left, then adios Target. :)

Forgive me if I'm late to the party but I figured out why Target's mascot is a dog. It's because they want their employ... err "team members" to become obedient like them. It explains all the pats on the head and treats for doing good things. Touche, Target, touche! ;)

I have to say that there are aspects about the job and people I absolutely HATE, but there are also equal parts of the job I love. I love being there, helping guests, as they usually have great stories and it's a chance to chit-chat. I also love zoning (and reshoping) C&D... it's where I feel...
