FY 2023 Annual Pay and Performance - Team Leaders (PG45)

Only problem here is a majority of the team is hired during the holiday period. I couldn’t imagine having to deliver 10 reviews close to Black Friday week l

FY 2023 Annual Pay and Performance - Team Leaders (PG45)

I was in prepared for next and got 4.5. Seems everyone in the program got 4.5 at my store, don’t think we had anyone get 6%

    Leader ownership questions?

Odd to have SSETL with only one TL and VM, I wouldn’t doubt your store is probably over ETL headcount now. Looks like your store is a little lower volume and doing things their own way, but it doesn’t make sense to me for 1 leader to own both fulfillment and pog. I was gonna say POG tl should...

    Leader ownership questions?

That was my thought. My store has 3 GMTLs Breakdown is GM 1 - inbound, essentials, kitchen, stat and Bullseye Gm 2 - toys, storage, pets, seasonal, sporting goods and fulfillment GM 3 - all process ownership. Pog, audits, price chance, RFID, etc

    2024 pilots / restructuring?

Gm 2 has rear From my understanding F&B owns mini since it falls under their fill group so they’ll be doing it most of the year except during BTS

    2023 New pilots?

We got an Ulta last year for remodel. The first maybe 6 months it was very strict with staffing. If the Ulta tm called out, someone from beauty would be moved over. If they weren’t there, then they’d take someone from style or gm. It eventually got to the point where the whole Ulta/Beauty team...

    2024 pilots / restructuring?

Because closing is a total store process and not department specific. Business needs vary and cross all departments. But this isn’t unique to your store, every Closing TL should be reporting to SD (unless there is Closing ETL)

    Who sets Ulta?

My store gained an Ulta last year, but it was a part of a total store remodel. They had contractors work overnight to install fixtures and what not, then the remodel team did the initial set. If you’re not getting a full remodel, I imagine your presentation team would set it. Transitions go...

    AM shifts for GMTL

If you are inbound then yes, but if not then that’s really odd. Most I see come in anytime 6 AM - 9 AM

    Prepare for next

Just got an invite for the second session, it’s going to closer to the end of the month for us. Looks like pre work will be pushed out next week. Seems a little quick considering the first one wasn’t even 2 months ago, but I’m guessing the timing rolled out weird and the last one was supposed...

    Prepare for next

The class was focused on People Leadership and and communication. We talked a lot about our relationships in the store, and there was a little exercise to find out what your communication style was and how that can impact your leadership style. I can grab the paperwork next time I’m at work and...

    Prepare for next

Yes my district is doing it and I’m part of the program. While I am glad that Target is doing some structured development for TLs, I was surprised by the amount of participants district wide. Roughly 5 TLs from each store were selected, meaning we supposedly have 45-50 people in the pipeline for...

ETL prospects, promotions, and other alternatives

In my area when ETLs leave the positions are just lost and never posted to be filled. It seems ETL headcount overall is being reduced. Only positions that every store keeps for sure are GM ETL and HR ETL
