I wonder will registers still be Target's or will they be CVS' crappy registers? Since our store has chip and PIN, and CVs Doesn't won't this cause confusion? Will guests no longer be allowed to ring up regular target items at pharmacy?
The manual enter on the card reader is not unique to Target, rather how it is at every store with chip and PIN. Staples just switched to manual entry on PIN pad too with their chip and pin rollout.
Are they chip RedCards or just chip regular debit/credit cards? If the latter there's an abundance of those now. As for RedCards, I haven't seen one yet.
This is true in a regard. At least they still "Target-ified" compared to the totally generic Verifones found at other stores, like the custom GUI that actually looks very nice.
Home Depot here does too and now Target. So far these are the three major stores here that accept them. There a handful of mom and pop stores that accept them here as well.
