March 24 2024. Stanley Cup Release

Been so busy I haven't checked-where is this one setting? Endcap like a few months ago? My TL peers don't keep up with these much and I'm wondering which one is responsible for this one after we had a LOT of dept swaps recently.

    RFID scan update (rant)

Love that Converse One Star is still on there, I still wear a pair that I got years ago! The clothes were a great line too. THAT was a great partnership, wish we could do it again. Would at least make a killer Family Gateway.

Logistics RFID Scan % After Annual Inventory?

Weeks usually. Use the RFID exception report to figure out the trouble areas. It's usually style. Coukd be there are tags hidden somewhere artificially inflating the RFID count as compared to a smaller amount if items physically counted. Or could be loads if items with no RFID tags. Either way...

MEGATHREAD Hang Me (The Softlines Thread)

Get familiar with your hanging backstock. I recommend that if you are scheduled Mondays and Fridays that you fill from the backroom on those days. Monday to fill from weekend sales, Friday to fill FOR sales -and check what's going on ad Sunday so that can be filled or remerchandised. All of...

Target posts a stunning drop in profit. Stock plunges

That's insane!! We've been lucky enough that we're not there yet. Our trucks have been huge and we might roll one pallet into another day but within 2-3 shifts it's clear. BUT THE FLOOR. It's painful to me. My store is known for an excellent zone and it's so hard right now. It's not just the...

Target posts a stunning drop in profit. Stock plunges

Soooo...they should really staff Style a bit better since almost all of our merchandise is owned brands and sit at a 60-72% profit or so

    Why doesn't Target carry Levi's 501 jeans?

Many stores now do. All stores carried the Denizen sub brand by Levi's for Target, but they started to roll out Red Tab a few years ago. We just got our selection a few months ago, about a year behind other stores in our area. It's a gradual tiered rollout, testing the market.

What happened to the "Feel Good Together" women's apparel brand?

That wasn't a brand, it was just a Family Gateway set. They usually have a theme and the matching items are produced under our Goodfellow, Cat and Jack and Universal Thread/AND lines.

At the end of my rope. Rant/advice for a struggling inbound TL

Plus 2 for style sort at around 5-5.5 hrs each and they rarely finish anymore with the size if the trucks, much less make it to beauty sort.

At the end of my rope. Rant/advice for a struggling inbound TL

Usually 6-10 or so, 4-5 for the line depending on the day plus out inbound TL. Most are Essentials DBOs after the truck.

At the end of my rope. Rant/advice for a struggling inbound TL

Because payroll is scaled down as well. I can get a 2200 and have one person scheduled for Domestics and HIPA, and another person scheduled for Home/kitchen at 5hrs each. I'm taking trucks with 130 repack for style (plus random case) and 3 style tms at 5-5.5 hrs each who also have to be fitting...

Specialty Sales to take over home and seasonal

What do your closing experts do then? They should be pulling at least once.

TL Reviews, what was yours like?

3.5%, full bonus but only pushed me to $20.65, I feel like I'm being robbed a bit considering the amount of work I do. Ah well.

    How are POGS designed anyway?

Would love it if all ism had scans that told you date range of when it should go up and down. It would be SO much faster than checking individual vmgs since they don't usually associate with any pog/salesplanner like GM signage.

Sales Floor Let's meet in the Middle; an Electronics/Tech thread

2019 was the last year we didn't have a truck every single day. Getting other tasks done (in all of my departments) is SO hard and we are all barely holding it together.
