I wear worx red wing boots with steel toe caps. I've dropped enough on my feet to make them well worth it. I've tried wearing chuck taylors when working salesfloor/electronics, but there just isn't enough support there for my feet.

To that one guest who's come in 7 times so far to complain to target mobile: why not go to the corporate store? You're making their lives miserable.

The discount card isn't hard plastic. You'll probably want to laminate it, lest it look like mine after two years. You can pick up your paycheck any time from payday on, and the best time will vary depending on your HRTMs schedule.

I ignore it. It's none of my business, although it might be spot's business if they try sue spot for anything injuries their kids inflict upon themselves.

Archived The Official 9PM Black Friday Rage Thread

I'm okay with my hours, and with losing thanksgiving morning and evening to work, because I had the luxury of volunteering. I'm also okay with people calling out for family. There are very good reasons to spend time with family, and I'm willing to work that miniscule amount harder to compensate.

To that one ETL: you severely endangered my safety the other day, and I haven't forgotten about it. We all see through your self-righteous BS and we all know you only care about your career. I could've concussed myself again, and you would have been at fault.

To that one guy: You, too, have dildos for brains. You really need to learn to be more accepting of new ideas, especially as routines change and become more efficient. To that other guy: You deserve better than Target. When you find a job outside of Target, it's gonna suck for everyone in your...

Because the metric isn't a ratio of 'dollar amount of counts changed' over 'total scans.' It's 'dollar amount of counts changed' over 'dollar amount of total sales'. When the numerator of a ratio goes up, but the denominator stays the same...what were once high yellow metrics become flaming hot...

    Archived Black friday hours

No. I have different values. Target never asked me to come in to work garbage hours for Black Friday. I volunteered to come in, because I'm close to my team, and to one or two of the ETLs who are coming in WAY early for crowd control. I do it out of personal loyalty. Never to the company, never...

    Archived Black friday hours

    Our's are in. We open at 9. I'll be...working 30 hours between Wednesday morning and Friday evening. I can't really complain, because I /did/ volunteer, but I think I might've miscalculated my dose of kool-aid a bit. I think I'm o/ding.

Research done in stand alone and the instocks application will change the counts. So, I did some digging today, figured out how the shortage indicator is calculated. It's $ amount of the change in counts divided by the $ amount of monthly sales. So, if your team is like mine and went from...
