If your anxiety is that bad, you could ask to go on a LOA for a week or two. Although, that might not look too good to leadership since you're new. The absentee policy is waived until things return to a somewhat normal state.

If you think it was intentionally broken, for sure notify AP and the GSTL. Otherwise just notify the GSTL if it was an accident, and they'll take care of it and notify AP if they think otherwise.
