I usually put in a few shoe PTMs every few days to avoid dealing with a massive amount of clearance shoes. In the past few weeks, however, there wasn't even enough room for PTMs, so I inevitably got stuck with tons of clearance. I even spent an entire shift (very neatly, but quickly :P) trying...

My store has a former TL from years ago still listed in that area. I asked him what was going on with that, and he said apparently HR forgot to take his name out.

But if more than one person on plano are working in the same area, at least one can stay on the floor to be around the fixtures. It won't be a problem. At my store: Plano: doesn't respond to the lanes, but they'll answer call boxes if they're really close. Price change: responds. Instocks...

Just like you said, leaders should be able to lead. There's a problem. I would hope the entire team is being told to be faster, not individual people who are already fast. If I were listening to a speech like that at a huddle, I'd be discouraged if I were one of the fast ones. I hope...

That guest was more than "simply uninformed" and he made more than a little mistake. I would be pretty upset after having that guest in my face, not listening to me, and insulting me.

At huddle a year or two ago my ETL-AP addressed the issue just once. Clearly the message wasn't spread very well.

I'm kind of confused. You were fired for a good reason (at least in Target's eyes), but later rehired? So now you're trying to figure out if you can fit back in?

I'm too ashamed of Target to wear any advertisements for them. I get my red shirts from clearance racks at various stores.

Related situation: On a hot day, a guest told me a dog was left alone in a car with a window open just a bit. I told the LOD, and she told me she (the LOD) can't do anything but the guest has the option to make a phone call from the store. :mda:
