Tis a sad day. I just learned built bikes will no longer be a thing at my store, they took down the whole bike wall, all the fixtures. I'm not the bike builder anymore but I loved my 10-sh years as builder at my store, and was hoping to get a chance to return to that position at some point.

I'm just a team member but in my experience the reason to skip break or lunch is intense pressure to finish job tasks. Whether that pressure comes from management or from self differs from person to person

I've seen a couple fistfights between TMs in my time. It does happen. Not often.

TL/DR: TM on thin ice already blew up at an untrained TM with mental disabilities who was doing a bad job. TM got fired.

I noticed this too. I thought "owned brands" were more profitable than name brands. Maybe I'm wrong. I assume the actual profits must show the opposite once sales volume and product loss (out-of-dates and clearance/salvage) is taken into account.
