    Sick of working here.

Not that I disagree with what you said for the most part, but - I think you may need to introspect a bit here. English does not appear to be your first language and you may be suffering a bit due to a barrier there. I find it unlikely that Target is advertising one wage and paying another...

    Anyone remember VIBE?

VIBE was the beginning of my end. I remember it clearly, the conversation with my completely fucking useless STL. "Your team isn't vibing with the guests, I need you to coach them - can you see how this might be a problem?" "sure, but not for me." EDIT: JFC when I read it I can even hear her...

How do I change the button to say something else?

If a call box goes off in a forest, but no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

We need to get a big 10 every time!

Welcome to every job you will ever have ever in retail. Inexperienced leaders leading even more inexperienced leaders will always push metrics. They cannot tell you how to improve - only that you must. You will find this at every entry level "low skill" job (aka jobs that don't require a...

    Lost of electronic key

Did you leave the actual key? Or just the s3 magnetic key. If you left just the magnetic key, you'll probably get a talking to and they'll go about their day. If you left the entire set of keys, they will have to re-core every lock in the building that was associated with that set of keys...

    Cart Attendant is Mentally Draining

Don't take this the wrong way. This is a probably a you problem, not a them problem. This speaks way more to your self-esteem than it does to society. I promise you 99.999999999999999% of society doesn't look at you and think that. In fact they probably don't even notice you're there doing...

Will the board call for Cornell to retire or resign???

I don't disagree with anything you're saying (except the clueless part). Share held organizations rarely make decisions for long-term growth. This is a well demonstrated truth, they make decisions to make shareholders money. The ever-increasing march for profit. Reduce cost, increase...

Will the board call for Cornell to retire or resign???

...point you towards Amazon and Walmart, who treat their employees far worse than Target, and have experienced unfathomable levels of growth for many *many* years. Corporations exist to make money, they have never and will never care about you...at all. If you died tomorrow Target wouldn't...

Will the board call for Cornell to retire or resign???

You get shitcanned and your saved labor costs offset the loss of profit from in store shopping. Less guests in store means less labor, less electricity, less everything. Then they replace you with a person who can pick and pack for a cheaper labor rate and continue to push SFS and curbside...

Will the board call for Cornell to retire or resign???

Cornell is doing his job. He was brought in to right a sinking profit ship. And he did. In fact he was unfathomably successful at doing so. This will be a case study in foresight. Cornell doesn't care about how many pallets of freight you have sitting because his vision of the "brand"...

    Them Amazing Folks at C&S

Had a more than a few during my time in the Northeast, usually when it was extremely hot out. Just refuse the order and call C&S and ask for an expedited reship. You can also partial refuse, for example if the frozen is OK but the cold is out of temp.

    No LOD

Over the 15ish stores I worked in, I'd say maybe two had good culture with management actually supporting the team. The rest just...didn't respond unless they had to.

    No LOD

LOD is ambiguous. Even when it was a thing I told my team not to use it - too easy for them to shirk responsibility. Call them directly by name, then if they don't respond, they can be held accountable for it.

    Subt99

I have not worked at Target since the new systems went into place but I am intimately familiar with the underlying logic (Do not cite the old logic to me, Witch! I was there when it was written.) Assuming the underlying system still works using the same logic then would this not work? - Untie...

    I got fired

I have shell scripts and cloud flows that automatically push a recap of any communication I send or is sent to me (to/from flagged chains) to a storage account which gets linked to a Jira board. So whenever I get a "but you didn't" I just give them the Jira ticket number and it's all there...

    Bye Bye Receivers

My prediction: Target leadership at the low level says "you need to manage vendors and let them know they can only arrive between xyz times - because this awful new process is inconveniencing us" Completely missing the point that most vendors serve like...5-7 Targets that are trying to enforce...
