^^ wouldn't the cap have to increase based on the local minimum wage? Like if I worked in a state that pays $15/hour, the cap would need to be different than a state/city that pays $19/hour.
I will say that the closers at my store typically get decent hours because they are willing to close. I have very tight availability bc of a 2nd job but because I close, I always get my desired hours.
My store isn't getting the extra $1 but I was at a different store in a different city with a lower minimum wage today and they DO get the extra $1 according to signs on the doors. Starting wage, though, is $1.50 less so that may be why....to allow those stores with different pay scales to...
I added PTO off via the app a full week before the payroll deadline and it still wasn't added to the check I will get this week. I looked on the app and it's still sitting there in pending status. Infuriating. I shouldn't really have to check that HR is doing their job. Right?
Yeah our closing team minus the CL and closing GSTM are out the door by 10. No one ever stays past closing unless its a cashier bc a guest is still in the store.
^^ I don't know about that but I do know that my store, at least, isn't allowing the usual extra hours this year. In the past, you could work up to 50 because the holiday is paid from a different bucket.
I think the point is that the current year’s review plus compensation change info is not there. Why not? It should’ve been added once the conversation was had and definitely by the time I received my paycheck with the new rate.
Eh. I've taken small loans out 2x. It gets repaid via your check and you chose the repayment plan. It's a better option that pulling everything out altogether and getting the penalty.
^^ my pay cycle is this week and there's still no raise or review in Workday. The only way I knew my raise actually went into effect was by looking at the payslip.
Desired hours are desired; they aren’t a given. It even says so on that little form you fill out. So I would change them right beck to reflect what you actually want.
That’s really dumb bc the reason college kids are on demand is so they have a job during summer/Christmas breaks. They want them to transfer back and forth every semester?
