Logistics CRC Chain of Custody thread

Honestly, this is not something you want to be showing multiple people how to do unless you trust them 100% to do it correctly. So for me I've shown leadership and then maybe 4 other people how to do this. I don't trust most of the people who do defectives/price changes in my store not to...

Logistics CRC Chain of Custody thread

What are we supposed to do with price change or Target Plus items where the sticker doesn't print out properly? Since we shouldn't be typing in the LPN is there even a point in putting them on the pallet? Since they aren't scannable at the DC we wouldn't be getting credit for them anyways and...

Oh, I didn't even think of that. I'll have to look into it

Logistics CRC Chain of Custody thread

They need to figure out a way to reprint stickers for price change CRC product. For damages we can reprint those, but as far as I know there isn't a way to do it if the sticker messes up when doing price changes.

    New Rollouts for 2025?

So far the process hasn't been terrible, but I'm dreading days when softlines has huge workloads and a ton of stuff goes CRC. I have had to make lists of people not following correct sticking processes mostly from Guest Services, but luckily most of them have been fixing what they are doing...

    New Rollouts for 2025?

The Salvage/CRC thing was in pilot stages. The pilot was announced in October. I haven't seen if they are continuing forward with it still but it is a pilot that had a process guide.

    New Rollouts for 2025?

I have no clue, I am so curious about this pilot but I can't find anything else about it. The only reason I know about it is because someone posted pictures of parts of the pilot on reddit. I'm guessing it is the crc/defective sticker for actual damages/returns and then the upc for price...

    New Rollouts for 2025?

When I took over receiving we needed to make sure everything was scanned to the pallet ids. The price changes and returns/damages from guest services were collected into batches that we scanned onto the pallet. Individual defectives from other places had to be individually scanned onto the...

    Game Day

Welp, it looks like my Red Bull vendor will be writing up at least 400 pieces for credits. They packed out every shelf of 12 pks plus their normal bulk endcap and have maybe sold 20 pieces from there at most.

    New Rollouts for 2025?

If I am remembering what my SD told me correctly RevLog and RevLog Pulls will be worked into myWork. I'm curious if the current CRC/Salvage Pilot they are running in some stores will go forward. I am not looking forward to that extra workload on top of all the other receiving stuff I need to do.

    Game Day

I've told my vendors not to pack it out. I'm not looking forward to the amount of crap that I'll have coming back anyways. Like even the small amount that they need to bring in to even make the shelves look halfway decent is gonna mean there is a ton of backstock. Like Red Bull does not need...

    Receiving Audits have Returned

One thing that I think is different is that when you scan an item it won't add to the amount. It clears out any previously entered number. So my vendor told me he had 10 of something and then found another two cases later as we were scanning through. I entered 20 thinking it would add that...

    Receiving Audits have Returned

I'm not sure if anyone else has gotten them yet, but just a heads up to anyone in receiving. The dreaded audits for ADSD deliveries have returned. I've only gotten one so far, so I have not clue how often they will pop up. If it is was anything like before it will be so varied how often they pop...

    Destroy vs donate

I think they could, since it is an option for non food. But Target is all about making money, so I'm surprised that there are stores that don't have a clearance endcap for food. We sell through a decent chunk of ours whenever we put stuff on there. I think the last time we didn't it was because...

    Destroy vs donate

They probably select Near Expiration Date. But according to my grocery TL, they are really starting to crack down on donations. There are a ton of new metrics that are getting dinged and they are really tracking it. So if you have too many things defected out for being Near Expiration or Past...

    Destroy vs donate

There is a greenfield report called Defectives. There are filters you can change to get it to show what the disposition policy is set as (select donate) and then an option that asks if the Vendor policy was Overridden (select Yes). Then the other filter I use is what disposition was processed...

    Destroy vs donate

Some products are just like that. Protein shakes, some kinds of nutrition bars and certain water flavorings will pop up as that.

    ESIM

The Weekly Log is due by Wednesday. I was off on a Wednesday before and no one did the log so it got dinged in the system and my SD got an email about it. ESIM should get scanned into the bins within 24 hours... and if nothing is scanned into a bin for a 5 day period then your store gets on a...

    Vendor

Good job dealing with that. I've been lucky so far, every time I've threatened to deny an order if a problem was not taken care of then the vendor has taken care of it. I'm glad your boss backed you.
