Are mangers and TL's required to provide sanitary items, like kleenex and hand sanitizer?

At my store there's usually a box of kleenex and a pump dispenser of hand sanitizer by the time clock. That is until the kleenex runs out. Then it's going to be a few days until somebody requisitions another one. In a case like your's, @skiddybop , I'd have used the restroom paper towels. They...

    Can I Stretch My Thirty?

When I show up early for my shift I don't punch in right away because I know that 4 hours and 59 minutes later I'm going to need that extra minute as I run to the time clock.

    Can I Stretch My Thirty?

The situation I have to deal with doesn't come up too often. And so far I've never been late getting back to the time clock. If you're asking why I avoid talking to my team leads ...

    Can I Stretch My Thirty?

I could just drive back to work at a reasonable speed, and if I miss it by a few minutes, "forget" to punch back in.

    Can I Stretch My Thirty?

I should add that most of the time I'm pushing truck. If I were working a register or picking OPUs, it would be different.

    Can I Stretch My Thirty?

Well, not "for the heck of It". qmosqueen's example was closer to my situation. I wanted to know if I have to run red lights just to get back to the clock on time.

    Can I Stretch My Thirty?

This sounds like my situation. My store can be pretty relaxed when it comes to the time clock, but this wasn't something I wanted them to know I was considering. Thanks for all the replies. Good to get the different views.

    Can I Stretch My Thirty?

You're saying that the clock will allow me to end my meal late, right? Then it's just a matter of my store's HR deciding if it's a problem or not?

    Can I Stretch My Thirty?

How flexible is my thirty-minute break? What if I make it back to the time clock after 35 or 40 minutes? When I punch back in would the time clock accept it? Does HR notice or care?

    How do I pull?

A lot of team leaders want to know when you've finished a pull. You might need to call it out on your walkie talkie when you're done.

    Specialty Fellow tm not backstocking

RebelAtHeart, I'm going to take your success story at face value. It's really great that you could get your inbound team turned around in only three months. But understand that that's just not going to happen at a lot of stores.

The hardest part of this job for me is when I feel like I'm stuck doing somebody else's.

    Leaning cardboard?

Funny that. I started doing it pretty regularly a couple years ago and other TMs do it, too. I've never heard anything about it being a problem. No leaders, no TMs who make bales, nothing from the property manager. Go figure. Can anybody settle this?

    Leaning cardboard?

Hey, let's keep it positive on channel one. I don't know if it's kosher, but something a few of us do at my store is hit the red emergency stop when it has pressed down as far as it can, just as it starts to come back up again.
