Is there a push to have these as low as possible again?
In my department my floor capacities are high so it isn't a big deal.
However when I look at the OOS it's over 75 at close for the whole store.
I believe like any other availability change it still has to be approved.
How long that takes is store specific.
I have only used the temp availability change for one week but I still worked some during that week.
I have always thought that very few people appeal their unemployment denial.
When I appealed my unemployment I had an "advocate" who helped me in the hearing.
The appeal process if you are denied varies from state to state.
A couple of observations from someone almost 60 that has been fired and/or laid off a few times.
I would go ahead a file for unemployment and just give then your Target store number.
Target might try to deny your unemployment because that's what companies do because they don't want to pay it...
After Halloween candy is set who refills it in your store?
At my store it's grocery though my TL lies every year and states we are getting extra help to do it.
I had a 5 1/2 hour shift once and asked whether I could be punched in a 1/2 hour early and take a lunch.
They said they couldn't add hours.
6 - 1/2 = 5 1/2 you Math Major.
I took a lunch anyway.
If you demote to a TM it's going to look like TARGET DEMOTED YOU.
I would stick it out and keep looking for another job.
You were a TM for years before coming a TL so that works in your favor.
PM me if you want.
Agreed.
Guest service should just do a price change and get them out the door and help the other thousand guests waiting in line at our understaffed store.
Companies try to deny unemployment all the time now.
They figure you won't fight it.
I battled a company once for TEN months to get my unemployment.
I worked there for SEVEN years.
