Our Target mobile manager told me this is Marketsources end goal. It has been in the works for a long time. I wouldn't be surprised seeing how much of a profit they turn for Target.

If your store is anything like mine they will let go of all the seasonal employees no matter what you do. I'm sure someone will jump in and say otherwise or I am mistaken but my store did this last holiday season we kept no one.

I think it's bullshit that we lose our merit pay if our state raises minimum wage. I wrote about this in another thread but the more i think about it the more pissed I get. If your listening corporate this is just another reason people want the ability to bargain collectively.

Yes I had an ETL obsessed with getting this overhead signing up before 8am to post on twitter on Sunday this week.

We aren't same sex, but we met the requirements for domestic partnership because we have lived together for years and are planning on staying together (getting married this June). I wasn't aware that we would have to pay taxes on that. We use her card more than I use mine:(

You can also get one for a domestic partner. I was able to get one for my fiance that way.

It's things like this that really hurt morale at my store. It really makes a lot of people just not give a shit when it's obvious corporate just half asses things.

It's a big deal because Target keeps taking more and more. I would not be surprised if we open 7am eventually. Seeing as they don't give a shit about Thanksgiving what's going to happen when we decide to open Christmas morning for those last minute gifts. It's fucking ridiculous. And yup...

Thanks for responding. I just really didnt want to be taken advantage of. I already got screwed once when I was electronics specialist. I am starting to hate this place I used to really enjoy working for Target but I think its time for me to move on.

Ive been with Target now for 7 years. I dont think I can keep doing this anymore. Just put in three applications elsewhere with availability starting the Sunday of black Thursday.:(
