    Archived Giving the store away.

I feel this happens all the time, but doesn't store and upper management understand how a business is supposed to work. You offer a product and sell it for a profit. Basic business 101. However, I have been giving our store away for free and from the sound of it so have you guys. Let's give...

    Archived Electronics

    Archived Holy Short Shift!

The last 3 weeks they have been closing cafe at 6. That would mean the closing cafe tm was scheduled from 4-6 only. However, the new schedule has them still closing cafe at 6, but at least they gave them 2 more hours on a register.

    Archived Union time?

Both situations suck, but each month an employee should be rated on a scale: like they give for yearly reviews. This rating should be be given a number value and be added to years of service. The higher your rating/number the sooner you get called in.

Archived Goodbye to AP as we know it (again)

Ap needs to go plain clothes. Before I started working at target, anytime I would go into a target I would consistently remember that I hate shopping there. When I see a security guard in full uniform I feel the store is high crime and I don't want anything to do with that.I'm sure others feel...

    Archived Bye Bye Target Ticket

I would never sign up for target ticket, target can't even get their employee ehr to work properly. Defiantly not putting my money into a movie service that is web based. ;)

    Archived Union time?

Here's just a bunch of random thoughts: At my old union job, if someone called off they would have to call people based on seniority. So the longer you were there the more open shifts you could pick up. When I was hired I wanted full time and was told it would be full time. Being cut to as low...

    Archived Union time?

If there were enough people from a large amount of stores on the union train they wouldn't be able to shit all those stores :) This movement would have to get started through the internet obviously. Get employees to sign anonymously so corporate can't retaliate until there is to many of us.

    Archived Union time?

@PugMuffin a union would defiantly help in the situations I provided. I have worked a union job at a grocery store and upper management telling people not to come in for their shift that day would never fly. When I worked at the grocery store(union) I hated paying the dues and felt it was no...

    Archived Union time?

Long time lurker first time poster. When I first started working at target, I was all for not having a union. Happy I didn't have to pay dues and felt the union only protected the lazy workers. Half a year later my view on this stance has flipped completely. Just some of the events that have...
