    Schedule exception

I believe you are talking about ada. There are very few ways to Ada. If you work a keys you could try to get a dr saying you can only work 10 hours. Other than that, definitely challenging

We are still hiring, but mostly warehouse associates and seasonals I believe. The fla going away puts more workload on first shift pc’s (more so b1). Support om’s hours are definitely less appealing now.

You are probably correct with the Lww’s being used as cheap management. That is how they are able to cut om headcount across the network. Now they are changing hours or support om’s. The support om’s I’ve talked to think it’s so they quit.

    Merit Level 1

Those are the risks you take going to merit so early in the progression scale. The only raise you will get is with the yearly review.

    Operations Manager Intern

You would probably get an offer between 80-85k Pto, I believe is 3 weeks plus 7 comp days for holidays A key om’s work roughly 44 hours in 3 days and b key om’s work roughly 50-52 hours in 4. If you agree to fill in outside of your normal shift, you would get a different day off that week. I...

    DA vs CA

Both lead to termination. A da is a one off event, like has been explained. A ca is trend based. Both type go ca/da, final, term. Both court to the three ca then next one you’re out rule too.

    Best Team Results

Hr in our building is going around asking for input. They have to get a business plan together, based off of results, to improve in the future. The problem is, most of the people that marked things unfavorably did so in spite and don’t have any actual solutions, just things they perceive as...

    Does this make sense????

Let’s not forget the inventory issue they were plagued with.

    Does this make sense????

Strict budget was always going to be a focus this year. Last year was horrible. Discretionary spending was down well before “the boycott”. Usually when you boycott something you boycott it completely, not just home decor. 🙄

    Does this make sense????

They were cutting since January when they said they would save something like 1 billion this year from dcs. But sure, push a false narrative.

    Does this make sense????

They are flexing down because the forecast is showing they are in excess of a large number of hours. If the drops/arrivals come in above forecasts they may need additional support. In order to process the excess that wasn’t planned for, you can sign up for flex up (for your original shift) and...

    The robots? No. It’s gone.

How many DC's are transitioning to the new pod containers?

250 cartons each chute? I assume the stores associated with those chutes have another, regular chute (they can’t be that slow).

    Quitting and vacation

I assume that is in a store. In the dc you would have to call in, back fill and make sure you quit on a tuesday(as Monday is payroll). Technically you are supposed to works your last shift and can’t have vaca be your last shift.
