I thought no news was good news, was on the schedule next two weeks. They told me yesterday buh bye you were seasonal here's your last check. So who knows, my store didn't handle any of the seasonal hires well, got rid of 15 in the past week, all were on the schedule.

Ya my 90 days was up next week. But when I was hired they didn't specifically say seasonal. I get that they don't tell you early you are being let go but would have still been nice to know! Oh well, I need work with more regular hours. I was according to my time, on the schedule next week...

Yea, the can't re-apply for 6 months makes me wonder, but I know I was doing a good job so definitely confusing. I'm not the first this week though, guess it's that time of year.

Weird there was no warning, cash instead of a check and I had no idea I was seasonal. Oh well.

Oh well. Went in today, worked my arse off and was given cash as my last check at the end of the day and told I had been hired seasonal (which I was never told). Lots of people gone in the past few days. They said I can't re-apply for 6 months? That's weird but hopefully I find something else...

I'll go in today and check the paper schedule. According to online, I'm not scheduled until Sunday. Original posted schedule was Wed-Sun 38 hours, then it changed to the exact schedule I had this week...Sun-Tues 13 hours. Seriously confusing.

So I got all vamped up when I saw I have 38 hours next week, hours have been sporadic..anywhere from 10-20. This was yesterday, look again today to print it and totally changed...down to 13 hours, different days/shifts. Do I just need to look every day and never know my schedule, how often do...

I'd like to know also. Only 'available' for this entire week, 2 days next week and the following again...zero. Kinda has me worried, and broke.

So I'm in my 3rd week at Target, first week on days and not in training (which was a 4am shift) This week I"m working 3 days from 8-3, although mytime says 3:30 (they told me my day was done at 3). I read somewhere the next week's schedule is put up on Thursdays on mytime but shows no hours...

Looks like it's 2 weeks of 4am for training, then day hours. Working 4-8am next week, hoping I get more hours once I'm trained. They teased me with a full day the first day lol

When you say 6am store, do you mean opening? My store opens at 8.

Weird, they wrote backroom day on the schedule they gave me today for tomorrow. Maybe I'll get lucky and it's just for training these 4am hours!

I'm ready! Had spinal fusion surgery a year ago, all healed and stronger than ever. Graduated and been looking for work so I'm happy to start, no matter what time!

Thanks. Either way I'll be happy just to have the job, and am starting at pretty good wage. I'll ask tomorrow, just definitely gonna be harder if it's a 4am shift. Title is Backroom Day so guess we'll see.
