Which TL or ETL position has the least interaction with "guests"

Be an APTL/ETL-AP and just say you don't work here. Works every time. (Doesn't work during virus season as most are currently wearing red and name badges.)

Answered How to become part of the AP team

The number of AP team members at a store (usually 1-5) is based on the risk assessment of the store and the surrounding area. It is rare for the risk assessment/number of AP team members to go up, as I've mostly only ever seen it slightly reduced in some stores over the years. Without either a...

    Thoughts on extending hazard pay.

Hazard pay was extended to May 30th, I assume it will be reassessed month to month like previously mentioned.

How hard is it to term a TM for internal theft?

Yes this is important to know for the people who think other team members stealing doesn't affect them. It is part of our job to know the relationships within the store, if your friend is stealing (doesn't matter if you know it or not) then there is about a 100% chance that you're getting looked...

    Lost wallet

After reading other replies I wanted to add on that if you did in fact have debit/credit cards in your wallet and you think you lost it at your store then definitely loop in your AP leader, it takes less than 60 seconds to run a transaction search and see if your card has been used in the store...

    Lost wallet

You can go to your store and look for it, or try asking AP, all stores are required to have a camera shot on the TM lockers/break room, it's considered a critical shot.

How hard is it to term a TM for internal theft?

Not that it matters at this point because OP deleted their account, but just wanted to chip in on the popular rumor that AP waits to hit felony level before closing out an internal. Whilst this may be true for some stores, it is definitely not best practice and is written nowhere in any training...

    Social Media and Management

When I first got hired in as AP so many years ago, we were always told to be friendly to the team members, but not friends. I'm sure the same thing applies to HR for a lot of similar reasons.

I'm Lost! Quitting in the middle of an investigation

Well of course ASANTS as well as all AP teams/leaders are not the same. It's just as easy to have a lazy AP person who sits in their office all day as it is to have one who actually cares about their job. Of course I can only speak for my district of stores and most of my group of stores (from...

    Shift pickup

I would recommend going to your leader or the HR TM/HR leader in your store, in-person. When you need something done being proactive in having in-person conversations and getting in somebody's face (respectfully) about it, will always yield better results.

I'm Lost! Quitting in the middle of an investigation

Any safety or security concerns should always be brought to your store's leader of Assets Protection first. I recommend sitting down with whomever your AP leader is and explain the situation and your concerns. A common misconception is Assets Protection is only there to stop shoplifters...

    Holiday Pay

Yes, a regular team member who did not work Thanksgiving or Christmas can still be paid for those days if they qualify for Holiday Pay. The requirements are something along the lines of: At least six months with Target. Average weekly hours 30+ Over 1000 total hours worked.

    Holiday Pay

Unless you are some form of store leader, you will not receive 'Holiday Pay' for New Years Day, you will only receive 'Holiday Premium Pay', so what ever time you clocked Today, the first of January, will be paid at time and a half. In the event you ARE a leader, you will receive the normal...

    Holiday Pay

All Team Members will receive 'Holiday Premium Pay' on the six target recognized national holidays. This means if you work on one of those six holidays, you will be making time and a half. Team Members who average above a certain amount of hours per week AND have been with Target for either 6...

    AP

The levels of store-side AP are, TSS -> APS -> APL/APTL -> ETL-AP TSS: Uniformed Security, mainly responsible for being near the front of the store (door/sco) and identifying potential theft behaviors or suspicious people or repeat shoplifters entering the store. The TSS then calls a higher AP...
