Okay, so idk if my district/group is the anomaly when it comes to AP. My understanding was since they're cutting the Sr. TPS positions their leaving all stats to APS's now. TPS will only be there for presence, safe and secure and PMR's. Well, according to our commitment meeting thats what it...
RS190:
Every store has an APS now. Why don't you apply for an APS position? I empathize with you because I was in the exact same position you're in. I wanted to go into an ETL position but there was none available in my store or in the vicinity of my area and I wasn't able to relocate. Yet...
I feel the exact way; it's infeasible sometimes! I still try to finish but I'm also having issues finishing my workload. However, it's not just you and me a lot of ulv stores are having difficulty. We just have to adapt and overcome my friend.
I know a little about the process, I'm on what is known as an ETL-bench or a plan to become an ETL. Just prepare for panel interviews, prepare all your stories by SITUATION/ BEHAVIOR/ OUTCOME that is the key to nail all interview questions at Target. The DTL in the Target you applied makes the...
Interesting, when I was a Sr. TPS/ APS/ Sr. APS I would always file a police report on high amount KTR's. My APBP/ ETL-AP knew and had no problem. Does the AP Directives physically state not to file a police report when you observe all 5 steps for a KTR? I don't think so?
I filed numerous...
I'm going to be honest, Target hires a lot of seasonal workers for two main reasons; New (Better) Talent and Diversity.
Target would rather have 500 employees all getting 15+ hours per week, than 200 employees getting 35+ hours per week. WHY? The more employees you have the better the business...
Would you be able to clarify this case?
I'm not going to speak to much of AP, because of confidentiality but what was the position of the security officer TPS or Sr TPS? If the security officer was a TPS, and not certified to make apprehensions, hence (physical/law enforcement apprehensions)...
When I got promoted to Sr. Team Lead I didn't receive that +$1.00 dollar raise for becoming a key carrier. It heavily depends on your store/district, and how the store is doing overall when it comes to raises.
When I was in AP I had an ETL-AP as a complete ass. One day we had an IC share point subject in the store and at the same time we had a DTL visit. My ETL-AP left the store and left me by myself to get a stat. She didn't "feel good to see the DTL' so she left. I got the stat but knowing that my...
Honestly, you sound like an x-ETL from my store; she was great by the way. My store sucks. All my current ETL's are all office managers; even when they're LOD's. I've been a Sr. Team Lead for 1 year and I perform as an ETL. I am just realizing TGT is an illusion. TGT doesn't care about team...
Don't forget 4X4's. I don't know of any of you have noticed Mc Donald's has also incorporated being 'BOLD.' I was driving pass the nearest Mc Donald's and it had a big sign stating Mc Donald's is now being BOLD. Haha I couldn't stop laughing. I feel sorry for the employees tho =/
"I only have...
I was a TPS> Sr. TPS> APS> Sr. APS> (currently) Sr. Team Leader; to answer your questions:
- What items are targeted the most?
Depends on your store/market trends. First thing is to develop a strong AP culture with all team members. Tell them to report empty packages and call out...
It's always best to have the support of your ETL. In the end, even if your are an 'outstanding' performing team member your ETL makes the decision to give you to another department, however, for TPS you still have to get interviewed by the ETL-AP or STL. Goodluck!
To in-store salary mangers (ETLs), please zone the folding tables, complete the PCVs, initiate huddles, complete key control best practices, recognize/ support team members on a daily basis, and PLEASE STOP MANAGING THROUGH YOUR OFFICE! =/
Correct. Sr. TPS is a N11 pay grade, usually 1$ more but it depends also on your store. What is your org chart#? Usually the higher the risk level you'll get bumped up a little more, also being an 'outstanding' performer helps too! My Sr. TPS gets payed higher than 11$ but lower than 13$ hence...
