    The chances are very low. Even if you got an offer, HR would be notified that you were fired for theft and they would likely take back the offer.

    There's a team at headquarters that handles all unemployment claims. Ultimately it is up to your state whether benefits are approved- Target just provides information about why you no longer work there (or are getting fewer hours, if that's why you are filing).
