    Backroom Snack Aisle

Looks good. How is your chip section? That's the worst part of snack for us

    Backstock

Corporate wants to limit the quantities in the backroom while at the same time sending massive quantities of product that isn't moving. Their response to Covid from a logistics standpoint has been a nightmare for stores.

Change BRL from Case to Open Stock

Uppercase will always be the last thing you pull in the aisle. You'll pull open stock and lower casestock to the end of the aisle. Then you'll star pulling the upper casestock from the end of the aisle to the beginning.

    No More Case Stock

I try to keep things caseless, but if we're getting product for endcaps or transitions, it's staying in the case.

Is this Real Life? (A Market vent thread)

You should be able to just use the dpci for it. Just use "corn beef" in the search query and it should be under the meat category.

Use the green racks for one for ones. Put some wacos on them and its much more effective and easier to organize than a 3 tier especially for big fill groups like grc2 and snack

    Target Zebra phone

If you know the extension you can dial that extension and hit complete transfer to get it directly to that area. IE optical is 3901.

You're missing Bake, MTCL, and FZDM

Sales Floor End of Life batches

Personally I don't see the need for it, at least in food. If you're pulling your 1 for 1s consistently the shelf and any other locations will be full. It's not going to move any faster until it's marked down.

We have an extra amplified gifting rack that we use. I'll park it near the front of produce or by the checklanes depending on traffic.

Is this Real Life? (A Market vent thread)

I've noticed that one for one batches tend to absorb any other batch in the fill group. If I drop a POG batch for cereal and there's already a one for one dropped for GRC 2 or someone drops it before I pull the POG, it just disappears. Not sure if this has the same effect on EXF batches or if...

    ONE FOR ONE

Ship from store has a lot to do with why stores are getting more and larger trucks. Since stores are pretty much online distribution centers now, they send excess freight to accommodate guests in store and online.

Your ETL will likely have to adjust scheduling if that's a permanent change. They likely have changed their route if it's a different warehouse so if you're used to the truck coming in at 7 and it's coming at 10 the team may have to start coming in later.

    Archived Meat Dairy Frozen Coolers

Main problem is that preventative maintenance isn't completed. We should be getting in and cleaning the fans in the coolers once a month. Unfortunately in most cases there is too much to do and not enough people to do it that tasks like cleaning get thrown to the wayside pretty quickly. The easy...

    Archived Team Lead

TLs handle all coachings and they are most influential in moving a team member to corrective action, final, or termination. As far as moving that TM, it's likely up to the TM to talk to HR or another ETL about changing departments. If performance is an issue then other TLs or ETLs would be...

I'm Lost! The Call In/Sick/Late/NCNS/Attendance Thread

Have you tried to call? There should be some leader there who can pick up. Otherwise call as soon as the store opens.

Not sure about your store since I'm not a Super, but there are Salesplanners for yogurt and Lunchables has a Pog in the bunker. Sets next week for me.

    Archived Coaching for call outs

If you call out, you should expect to have a conversation about it the next week with your leader. It gets documented but doesn't mean anything to you as a team member. When it becomes a trend and there have been multiple conversations (3+) then you get written up/corrective action. Don't take...
