Because you're still in the system until you leave. There's a process that has to be done after the fact. So they don't schedule you until that is done.

I see you saying this a lot, and coming from the highest volume store in my area (B) where people are still not getting very much hours, transferring to a higher volume is not always an option. I'd have to drive at least two and a half hours to find a higher volume than the 3 near me.

I think for a while my store was scared to hire minors. We went about 6 years without one. Didn't have any again until this last Christmas.
