Question about empty backroom location report when it shows empty but it’s not?

This is extremely common. It's why there's a thread on the new backroom accuracy indicator because old metrics were falling short of measuring the true inaccuracies

Question about empty backroom location report when it shows empty but it’s not?

If you know for sure that you backstocked it in the correct quantity, there will be reporting indicating the last activity of someone interacting with it. Whether that was in take, fill, audit or ePick

Do we sell Clearance TVs that are on display?

I saw something either in the may planner, weekly action update, or store communication that indicated there is a new functionality in Item Removal that lets you take sellable inventory, and defect it with a reason code of turning it into a display, so long as you then audit the display DPCI to...

Do we sell Clearance TVs that are on display?

Clearance TV displays can be sold once all box stock for that model has been sold through. The TV came from box stock in the first place. For the upcoming TV wall transition, TV displays will convert to having their own display DPCI, i.e. class 94. Therefore the SKU will be unique from the...

    Acknowledging RDC

Best practice is to acknowledge it once unloads begins. However, many stores don't because of the negative impact on things like OPU, and your example, etc. Best justification I think I've seen is that waiting to acknowledge can have a negative impact on the automated inventory corrections that...

How can I see what team members created baffles and ghosts in Greenfield?

Backroom System Led Audits logic has been recently altered. There may be a few exception, but the majority of stores now get exactly 45 tasks each day, split fairly evenly amongst departments. Audit no longer seeks out nulls(NaN) as the driver behind BR audit tasks. You may still run into nulls...

How can I see what team members created baffles and ghosts in Greenfield?

I am deeply interested in all things BRLA. 'can't touch this' brings up a very real point about how TMs can create inaccuracies that our systems have no way to measure. That said, I don't think it is the reason for the majority of errors, at least at my store. I wish I could support that with...

    Backroom locations

You can setup a simple test to figure how the logic. It's probably better with an NOP item that you have store tied, but it doesn't really matter. 1) Have an item with a sales floor capacity of X. 2) Set that items sales floor quantity to less than X. 3) Have the item located in each of the...

    Backroom locations

There could be a few different things going on. Sequence does generally follow an order based on stockroom ID, aisle, section, and shelf, if the groupings are all the same. If the groupings are not the same, open stock will be pulled first, then case pack and bulk/recv locations. There is...

    Helping a new Target Store

Travel pay is. I think hotels are common in situations when the mileage is a certain distance from home of residence. Travel pay may also include a "per diem" allowance for you to get food, but don't quote me on that.

    Helping a new Target Store

I have done a few planoramas and have generally enjoyed them quite a bit. It's a great opportunity to socialize with team members from other stores and learn how they operate the same or different, and to commiserate on all the things that grind your gears. Kinda like how we do on this message...

    Logistics Starbucks Shipments?

So just a small, but cool little calculated field that may come in handy for our custom greenfield card makers... The card that xanatos linked includes the relevant shipment ID, but for some reason includes an apostrophe at the beginning. This means that even if you display it as a barcode it...

The card is savable, so I saved it and edited it to display the numbers as barcodes. ^_^

Pricing and Presentation Price Change Unit Completion %

What's the difference? If the system says I have it, and I don't, it's shortage. If I say I have it, and I don't, it's also shortage, unless it's found, which is more likely than not. When it's found, if the OH is already zero because of actions previously taken, then it's not necessary to...

Pricing and Presentation Price Change Unit Completion %

I like to think of it as the opposite. I'm not actually flubbing the numbers by counting what I don't physically have. Indeed, in a way, I see myself as keeping them accurate. Let me explain. I used to think the majority of on-hand discrepancies were the result of operations mistakes from the...

Will auditing out my on hands fix my price change completion?

There is a dataset that you can derive the information from, but there are no sanctioned cards that display this information, since it could be abused to circumvent the best practice for price change, as alluded here.

Pricing and Presentation Price Change Unit Completion %

Oops I forgot to update the thread. To answer the question, as long as you print the tickets within the same fiscal week that the tasks were created (i.e. between Tuesday and Saturday), you will get credit for completing that number of units.
