The last couple weeks I've noticed that every night, usually somewhere between 6-8 PM, multiple (5-15 in my department) out of stocks will suddenly show up, and none of them will actually be out of stock on the floor.
Grocery, unfortunately. We had one year where GM did it, but nobody there liked doing it (now they know how we feel) so they made it our responsibility again
I've never heard of anyone getting talked to at my store for taking a long 30. 15s yes, but not 30s. My team lead often takes 40+ minutes and not because of OT.
The priority issue happens regardless of device, it's something in the system itself.
And Chrome tabs aren't closed automatically so this always happens on every device unless someone goes through and closes them. I haven't noticed it being a problem though, Chrome doesn't load the page into...
I don't think it's every item that's a top seller. In my experience in dry grocery it's been stuff like peanut butter, pasta, ramen, G&G chips, Cheez-Its, Clif bars, etc. I haven't seen it happen with things like canned vegetables or soup.
I think it has to do with popular items, the items that it keeps making me pull after only 1 or 2 of them are bought are all things that are very often bought. So 15 minutes later, another person buys one and it wants you to pull it again. Which means you are constantly just pulling the same...
Even in my area of consumables, which is nowhere near as confusingly laid out as style or beauty, I will have fulfillment TMs who have worked here for months asking me where something is in an aisle when it says right on their device where it is. And 95% of the time it's exactly where it says...
I'm just confused why bakery, deli, and especially meat would need their own TLs at your store... Meat is basically the equivalent size of one normal aisle at my store and only gets 1 person scheduled for it each day.
Do you talk regularly at work/on break? Does she seem to have any sort of interest in you?
If the answer to either of these is no, then yes it'd be awkward and possibly creepy.
