I don't remember who I was talking to, but someone was telling me they weren't going to shop at Target anymore because prices went up.
I was like "Uhhh yeah.. Prices have been increasing everywhere, not just at Target."
Fulfillment does it all.
Specifically, the flex TL at my store, because apparently TMs aren't supposed to do it, or so she says.
Nevermind that I and a couple other morning people used to do it as soon as we got in.
Make sure your OHs and SFQs are correct (x on floor, y in back, z OH).
If either one of those is off, the system wigs out trying to correct it by having you pull the item constantly to fix it.
The POG should also say how many notches need to be inbetween shelves. It'll say "x inches (y notches)"
I usually go by notch numbers since our measuring tapes go missing all the time.
You won't be fired for it, but you will get a talking to. Also, please don't make that decision yourself. Next time, find your TL and ask first.
OPU may not be busy, but it can absolutely explode on the drop of a dime. And yes- we notice everyone's absences, even if you think we don't.
Started by Walmart, picked up by Sears, Officemax, Old Navy, Kroger, Macy's, Kmart, Home Depot, Lowes, and a bunch of other retailers. IIRC it's a big enough program that it has government support.
