It worked this morning. So just a glitch yesterday, I suppose. Still would like a work around for the day when old POS goes away.
Much faster to use Speed ID on SCOs, and guests can’t steal your number.
As of this AM, the old POS no longer generates Speed IDs. Is there a work around with a barcode generator so we can use it on the self-checkout machines? If so, how? A how to do-it-yourself for dummies would be great.
I hate punching in my TM # and PIN in front of guests.
We haven't been receiving half dollars. We're still dropping them if someone pays with a 50 cent coin. But, I presume you just process them like any other coin, advance and pick up from the #15 change bag.
TLs are clueless. Besides, this is just to satisfy my own curiosity, and has nothing to do with my responsibilities as a demoted Guest Service Attendant, besides being a Drive Up monkey from time to time.
I was playing around with Greenfield for a couple of minutes trying to figure out who's been not following protocol for generating individual barcodes for each OPU bag/large item. How to do generate the correct report? Is there an instruction manual for how to use Greenfield?
