Is any other store doing overnight?

We’re having shifts from 2am to 11:45p…going overnight without actually going overnight.

Are your stores meeting sales goals so far this year?

I feel like the forecasts are out of whack. We’re still comping up +5%, but we’ve missed a lot of forecasts this month. So many guests are traveling and spending their money differently, so the idea you’re going to be able to grow sales at the same pace seem a little short sided. Also, with...

Service & Engagement How does is Target leads supposed to handle mental health accommodations?

I think a lot of the issues stem from a misunderstanding of the ADA. It’s there to require your employer to provide reasonable accommodations so that you can perform the same job as someone without an accommodation. With mental health, it’s really hard because a lot of the accommodations...

When does the job start to get sh#tty

Honestly, I have my area down to a science, so unless there’s a very off day like an ultra late delivery or surge supporting OPU or the lanes beyond the norm, it’s a-okay. But, when other people call out or decide they just wanna coast because they’re off tomorrow (or whatever reason,) the...

How does your stores overnight process work?

My SD interpreted one of the sorters as a secondary breakout. Again, ASANTS. It was also district and group direction lol

How does your stores overnight process work?

As my Store Director would say, that’s not in the guide.

How does your stores overnight process work?

I always feel like people forget ASANTS. For the most, we had one thrower, four on the line for sort, one for beauty secondary sort, and two for AA secondary sort.

    New availability policy?

There was talk about this on Reddit too. I imagine something is in the works. Anyhow, in May, Walmart is switching to a similar “teaming” schedule.

    New availability policy?

Most of the crappiest decisions I’ve mostly ran into were from the DSD and GVP. And it’s always about optics.

    Termination

STL are actually the easiest store team member to terminate, however, it’s pretty rare.

    Emergency Time Off

Some states mandate sick pay, so they created a bank (just like regular sick pay.) However, if you’re in a state that doesn’t require anything you won’t show a balance, but may still qualify for paid leave.

    Emergency Time Off

It’s your paid COVID leave, if you have to quarantine.

    One for one completion

I think HQ is pushing this metric because it would basically force you to schedule most team members to have shifts ending in the early to mid evening. Unfortunately, they also want truck done by 8a or 10a or 12p and guests want you to GTFO of their way lol

ADA form filled out by doctor required because I can't pull milk pallets?

You’re supposed to use a power jack, so if you were trained on it, it could be an accommodation. The only thing that stinks it that you aren’t suppose to take them on the floor, so you’d have to travel the backroom corridor.

    Answered Lost: What are one-for-ones?

Also, when the RDC truck is acknowledged (basically telling the system the merch has been received,) items coming in that day will not come out on your OFOs unless your capacity need is higher than your back stock and received product.
