    Salvage and CRC

The price change process is mostly clear, except when it comes to how we get credit for price change via CRC. Well that last part in particular is concerning since you work in OTC. OTC salvage product shouldn't be going in either. Per best practice and this is stated on the Price Change/Salvage...

    Salvage and CRC

Well as stated that is an assumption. I mean the thought process makes sense and I am curious if they do expire. If they don't then what is happening is that your store is salvaging out more than what you physical have. Which option is better? To have everything stickered, but the final...

    Salvage and CRC

This is only referring to defective CRC items. The reports only reflect that particular process and the items that are not scanned are shortage. There hasn't been an official update on price change salvage via CRC affecting stores final inventory. I am sure we will eventually be scored on it...

    CRC Salvage new program

You can still mysupport, you just have to enter the web address. I know we are supposed to just use chatbot, which I do sometimes, but on somethings logging into the computer and submitting a mysupport is still significantly quicker than chatbot.

    CRC Salvage new program

I mysupported this a few days ago, because I was wondering if it is like defective CRC and we only get credit with the printed sticker. When you scan the salvaged sticker it does give you the info of who and when it was salvaged, but it doesn't show the history like defected merchandise...

    CRC Salvage new program

If you start the process of defecting an item and go to the top right you should see the recent defective history of the item. After a few days it drops and you have to rely on the defective sticker.

Is there a procedure for items delivered to wrong store?

Also double check to see if there isn't another sticker with your store number. Sometimes they are from another store's transfer that they didn't deface.

    Carton numbers on repacks

I've been helping the flexible team narrow down if an item came in a repack and which one it would be. Besides using the filters under the dci list, is there a simpler way? Also initially I saw that the last few digits regenerate every truck, but have seen them repeat in the same truck. The...

    How to process damaged books?

I do the same and overide to toss. I get the idea to untie the dpci, but then it would affect all the quantities for the selected dpcis. Not to mention we get revisions for books every week so you would have to keep up with the new pogs. Also some books like the Harry Potter books we will have...

    DC Purging Hand Sanitizer

Same at my store. We got a push of about 25 cases last week when we are already sitting on thousands of units. I get why it's not sweepable, but I just don't agree with the reasoning. We generally do a better job sending out merchandise compared to how we receive it. We should be allowed to...

Does not scanning ESIM into the correct bin have any impact on anything?

There is not a report showing that. However, you should do your best to do so. All that someone would have to do is scan a bin and see that there is a discrepancy. You would be the one gambling on if you'd get a write up. I know not every single item in my bins has been scanned in due to...

    Receiving Schedule and Hours

Also has your store lowered in volume? That could affect your hours. Usually during 4th quarter is when receiving may get extra hours. Has this reduction not happened in previous years.

    Receiving Schedule and Hours

I get scheduled 35 hours, my dock hours are 35 hours a week, my store gets 37 hours a week for receiving, and I usually average 38-40 hours. It's hard to narrow the amount of hours because as you know we are always multitasking. That being said I do other things that take time. I'm in charge...
