    Performance out

@allnew2 I haven’t said anything about anything in AWHILE but I had to chime in to this conversation... You literally have to be blind to miss Babies!! No disrespect for anyone that has any disability, did this tm have a mental disability where they couldn’t comprehend you? To me that would be...

Archived Moving up over my TLs?

@Humble TL nailed it. You have to look at things from a Boss standpoint and not a worker standpoint. If you are selected to be an ETL, you’ll come across times you have to “challenge upward” and that means asking the tough, confrontational questions. Just remember “think like a boss”. Not saying...

Only when the Etl's had a team building event or whatever, only one of those TL's "ran" the process. Funny thing is we seem to operate better when it was like that. Sometimes certain Etl's, I think stress over nothing.

Thanks @allnew2. I’ve seen both my of the TL’s Overnight now have “keys” and on the daily grids, their Both Keyed in as “Seniors” so that’s why I asked. Both are usually accompanied by an ETL though.

For those stores with an Overnight Process, how does that work? I’m guessing everything you all have spoken about only pertains to Dayside only.

Archived Just curious. How many TL in the back room do you guys have?

Each department owns their Backroom, price changes and "everything" and your store Still maintains a location accuracy of 98.5??? With all those "cooks" in my "kitchen", I'd be VERY nervous. But ASANTS right?

Oh how I "miss" offsites. You honestly don't realize how "good" you have it @allnew2. Pray you you always have an offsite.

Let's be honest, Backroom needs no BIG supervision. Unless you specifically have workers who are absolutely worthless, to be in the Backrooms, you have to know what you're doing.

I hear you in regards to the "theory" of E2E but with some stores, executing e2e in regards to ACCOUNTABILITY, that's not always the case. Granted yes in a nutshell simply speaking, e2e makes Everyone Global and we all can pretty much work any workcenter or do anything with the exception of a...

    Archived ETL Interns

@EagleEye so I’m guessing that’s why Spot has “Leadership” that knows “less” than TL’s and Tm’s.

    Archived ETL Interns

@Thunderbird1956 some ETL interns really WANT to do well and really want to improve wherever their at, whether it’s been training at a store or their actual store they will join. Some however like you said, take it as a joke and just deal with the duties the ETL they are being trained by DONT...

@allnew2 Your store Still Has an off-site??? Wow I really thought they had gotten rid of them no matter the volume of your store.

I too think BRTL’s are on the “chopping block” From what I’ve seen they’re becoming the new Consumables TL’s, SFS TL’s or just Flow TL’s.

Great Stories everyone. Never realized how many "Unique" People we've worked for!! Please keep the stories going!! I'm sure we're all gaining insight to help us not only with Spot but life after Spot as well!!

Archived Anyone worked for a "prick", but kinda miss some of their methods

2 things I used to like about my old ETL LOG. 1 was he would see something that honestly just taking up space, he would throw it away. 2 was he would allow ppl to work sometimes even if not scheduled. Granted that hurt payroll but the results compensated. He came off at times like a “dick” and...

This goes out to people who has been with Spot longer than a "Hiccup". I know we all had that person in Leadership, that makes you say "Man why are they like that?" Now that they are no longer with your store, (Promotion, Quit or fired), you're like "I kinda miss when so and so DID so and so...

Throughly enjoy the replies everyone. Keep them coming as I'm sure we are teaching a lot of people who view this thread the many "phases" of being a captain. On a personal note, I have seen many sides of being a captain and echo sentiments with what has been said. I will add that having a "cash...
