    ASANTS but in my district you know longer have to interview with DTL for bench or regular tl position. For bench it would be just your STL and Etl hr. If a position open in another store you would then interview with that store STL

    I have family and friend who work at lowes and I can tell you the overall pay is better especially when you count the end of year bonus. Spot however is a little bit better with work life balance every other weekend off set day off during the week. Lowes it's one weekend a month

    Out former Etl hardlines did this. He worked for spot as tl for 8 years quite and 6 months later applied as an Etl and was hired. He left about a year ago after not being promoted to STL.

If they feel you are ready and you kiss enough ass they will send you: as others have said there are other places to go to that pay better than spot. Lowes for instance pays a whole lot better especially with the end of year bonus...

    Couldn't agree more. I feel that a degree should have no effect on an internal promotion to Etl. The sad truth is most tm and tl know more about the inner working of the stores with out a degree than an external hire.
