We have 4 male etls in our store. One is the log so it's just a red t shirt. The other 3 usually wear polos or red t shirts unless there's a visit then they wear button up shirts but as soon as that visit is over back to tshirts

You could be honest that normally works best. My store has a hired back a few tms that were originally listed as non rehirable. As stated above stick to the facts and don't go blaming leadership that def won't help you. Good luck

ASANTS but in my district you know longer have to interview with DTL for bench or regular tl position. For bench it would be just your STL and Etl hr. If a position open in another store you would then interview with that store STL

I have family and friend who work at lowes and I can tell you the overall pay is better especially when you count the end of year bonus. Spot however is a little bit better with work life balance every other weekend off set day off during the week. Lowes it's one weekend a month

Out former Etl hardlines did this. He worked for spot as tl for 8 years quite and 6 months later applied as an Etl and was hired. He left about a year ago after not being promoted to STL.

In my store the lowest I've seen a tl work is 30.

In some cases if you step down from tl to a tm position you keep your pay. In most cases you loose s majority of it. For instance our old food ave tl steeped down due to health issues. They took 3 dollars away from her and even then was still making more the the new tl thst replaced her

Not to sound harsh but maybe those people were better options then you. Also if you not on the bench your not going to be offered a position working in Starbucks doesn't help either

You get one full weekend off a month. Other than that it could be anything. I know some who had there full weekend off then worked everywhere end the rest f the month.

Couldn't agree more. I feel that a degree should have no effect on an internal promotion to Etl. The sad truth is most tm and tl know more about the inner working of the stores with out a degree than an external hire.

Up to districts. There was a time when it was HQ policy that you needed a degree to be an Etl only way around it was if you were a tl and got outstanding on your annual review for 3 yrs straight. A degree doesn't really mean anything in retail. I had a Etl ge who majored in zoology didn't know...
