Archived Things a GSTL would say

That's crazy! I would continue to sort and then have either the CA or an available TM roll the carts right back to receiving. Let the LOD forever be reminded that there's work to do. Thankfully, in my store the TLs and LOD make sure they assign at least one TM to do reshop.

    Archived GSA vs. PA

Yeah, that was my understanding of how it worked as well, @Nauzhror but there are 2 GSAs and one GSTL who are ALWAYS working guests for cards. As a matter of fact, the GSTL tried to get my daughter to sign up for one. Like...you don't think I asked her already? WTF? The 2 other TLs and GSAs do...

    Archived GSA vs. PA

GSAs get pressured regarding REDcards -- to the point where (in my store) they're stealing them from cashiers. I've seen it so many times that it's no longer infuriating. A guest is on a cashier's line with a large cart gets approached by a GSA (and in one case an overeager GSTL) regarding the...

ASANTS -- but I do a kickass job of zoning BP/DS!

    Archived Any positive ETL stories

I work in a store where I really like most of the ETLs, or at least the ones I'm in constant contact with. I like what Cartman said about not being an asshole. That's really all there is to it! Good luck!

Archived Transitioning from sales floor to GSA. What should I expect?

I wish this was the case in my store. I believe the new metrics for the prior week come out on Tuesday. Before my former GSTL went to the floor, he was ALWAYS on this with whoever worked on Tuesday. If I ask any of the current GSAs in my store (and there are a bunch) about my metrics, they...

Archived Training Team Members on AP

I do check BOB of every guest who has a cart for sure. I never thought to pull out the stuffing of totes/purses. The luggage is usually the toughest because the guest will just pull up the bar code for me to scan. I tend to ask for it and open it and pack their other bags inside. You know, to...

I have a question about LISA. I sometimes feel, I don't know, guilty about opening bags and looking inside. What do you say to a guest when they ask what I'm doing?

    Archived requisition for redcards

If we're below goal, the GSTLs/GSAs will offer $10-20 per application in requisition.

Archived Prospective ETL, questions about religious accommodations and grooming.

Man, so many opinions flying around in this thread. I used to work for an employment attorney and, trust me, if you wanted to, you have a strong case, especially with the recruiter leaving the voice mail. The thing is it would be against the recruiter and whatever agency he or she represents...
