I would stay where your at. Depending on the store volume you may be put in charge of AP/HR. And it sounds like that's not what your looking for. Plus district positions are getting cut or consolidated every other day it seems.

Like other people have said it sounds like they don't think your ready. I would ask for feedback on the interview to find out why you were denied.

Our flow TL has to write about 30 reviews. Pretty sure he has the most in the store to do. But don't worry, the ETLs helped out all the TLs by assigning the grades ahead of time without TL input. So they just have to write their reviews around those grades they probably don't agree with. Should...

Also realize February was the end of the fiscal year. Which meant many stores were trying to cut payroll not just for the month, but also the year.

I believe with cuts at corporate they have shifted some of that money to the stores. I know my store got a whole bunch of extra payroll this month that they weren't expecting.

Our full remodel ran overnight Sunday-Thursday, 10pm-6:30am which coincided with our pog team schedule. It was pretty sweet having every weekend off for 3 months. Ideally your pog TL should come overnight also and the schedules should match.

A shift on flow can break some people. I've witnessed it many times.

Sounds like your in a ULV with another LOD on vacation. Depending on the week most of our LODs close 1-2 times a week. Vacation weeks people have to pick up the slack. But we are high volume so we have more ETLs. Still you shouldn't be doing all closings.

AP people are a different breed in my opinion. They are good at what they do and should keep doing what they do best. Talk to your ETL about it. And if the position is under another ETL talk to them also.
