    Archived I don't know what I'm doing.

Hey, if it makes you feel better, most of the Team Leads that I've met don't know what they're doing either.

    Archived Compliance

A Sr. Tl did this at my store and was terminated. Funny thing is the STL was the one who told her to do that...

That would be just about the greatest thing ever.

Archived Any other TL's considering ditching Spot?

Yes. Soon... Currently working on my master plan for quitting. I'm moving soon and was planning on transferring stores, but I think I'll find a real job instead. I plan on rickrolling the store over the intercom among other things when I quit.

    Archived Poor ETL training

What? Never in my life have I heard of poor (insert title of store position here) training at Target. Everyone knows target employees are some of the best and most knowledgeable in the industry. Archived The role of an ETL (slight rant... sorry)

Archived Being developed for promotion to TL during new hire probation?

Sorry to say this, but no. When a TL sees someone capable of taking on more responsibilities, they give them more responsibilities. Usually, after they've proved themselves this way, a team member will be developed. They'll tell you if you're being developed for the bench before they start.

Archived Should I take SBTL even though it's a trap?

If you don't want to take it, then the answer is simple, don't take it. Do whatever makes you happy. No one can force you to take a job.

Archived What do you require a TM to be capable of in order to join?

With my store having such a high turnover rate for TMs, we basically just require them to last 90 days. :/ It's sad. The last 3 hires didn't even last a week. The workloads are so overwelming with us having so few TMs and our STL is basically satan. We're basically throwing the newbies into the...
