    It's not they shouldn't be coaching, they cannot coach. If a cashier tells a GSA that they don't want to do what they ask, the GSA's only recourse is to tell a leader, like the GSTL or ETL-GE. They can't reprimand the TM. But yeah, they're an intermediate role, quite like perishables...

    GSA isn't leadership. Not supervisory. It's a step up but it's more of a TM than a TL role.

    I agree. While I enjoyed my time in softlines, HR looks better on my resume, I received a raise, and I get more hours. The hours are the big thing, when hours got tight I was getting 28 hours in softlines around, which is high for a lot of TMs, but I had come to expect 30-38 hours in softlines...
