I'm guessing that currently you have 2 flow TLs, 2 backroom TLs, and probably separate Logistics and replenishment ETLs. That's all going to be condensed to one. 1 flow TL, 1 Backrrom, 1 LOG ETL. That's what happened at my store years ago

I think you have to make at least $50 mil a year to recieve an HRTL. Most stores without one use their HRTM(s) for orientation.

There was direction from HQ a while back to stop using store TPC for anything besides approved departments in meat and produce because it affects replenishment too much...

Plus they know nothing about the world outside their little microcosm at the front end. It says a lot when basically any team lead in the building can cover a GSTL, but a GSTL can't cover for any other team lead in the building lmao.

GSTLs are basically GSAs. We had 4 GSTLs at my old store, and they were the 4 worst leads in the building. Absolutely worthless. GSAs did just as good a job as them. I think GSTL is a leadership position that needs to go. It's a waste of money.

A good PA works closely with vendors and the FDC team, and must maintain strong relationships with all of them. A developing PA will even hold them accountable, as far as their authority allows them to.

Or just get rid of gstls all together. Add more GSA's and only use GSA's. Utilize ETL GE for performance management. Boom. Simple. Done. Edit: maybe even pay those GSA's a little more? An extra 75 cents or dollar instead of 50 cents.

And the create a sales planner app kinda blows asshole.

Target doesn't have enough product in all of its stores to push SPP as much as they are. As you descend in volume it becomes a lot more difficult(and expensive) to create single price point endcaps, because it ends up taking more hours to find product, and then change it again quickly after when...

It was general merchandise plus Pfresh plus a lot more because it was LA25, but not technically a super.

One of my coworkers transferred in from a huge store in CA. He said they had 6 hardlines TLs, and 4 softlines plus a VML. Not to mention he was 1 out of about 12 TPS's lol.

It all depends on store volume. At my old store I was only in charge of a small peice of the floor (A volume). At my new store, SFTLs are in charge of either all hardlines or all softlines (C volume).

They usually start as an ETL even with previous retail store management experience.

I've been told that this program is only available for ETLs.
